fuck ye it's fast and angry and funny and good as shit fuck
Gotta write a good joke song every now and then to break up all the emo shit, ya know? And this one isn't even about masturbation!... kinda
I was a little sad when I saw this song was only a minute, because all the other songs I had made at this point for FAWM were 2 and 3 minutes, but it's a joke song so it's probably better this way.
I really like how this one came out, 'cause there's a lot of cool shit in the instrumental I think, and there's like 7 different vocal styles in the span of a minute. That's pretty cool.
Original FAWM commentary:
This is a joke song but I think it's my favorite song I've done for FAWM so far. I noticed an unintentional trend of most of my FAWM songs starting out fast and having slow choruses, so to counter that, I wanted to make a fast song with no chorus, and since everything I do is 50% serious, why not make it a joke song that also ended up being kinda meaningful and even maybe pretty sounding at a point?
Another thing I wanted to do specifically with this song was use a marimba, because it's been a while since I've used a marimba and I think randomly inserting it into punk music is hilarious, but I think it ended up having a cool effect here, kinda makes it have an indie vibe I think.
lyrics
I'm just really feeling something.
I don't even know what it could be.
Maybe it's just an erection,
Then my dick could finally be seen.
Or maybe it's something real.
Not that my dick isn't real...
But something that is real bad.
Something that is making me sad.
I keep crying, why am I crying?
I don't know.
Maybe I did something
I regret, so
I guess I have to
Do something to
Stop all the tears
From coming from my eyes.
And I wonder why
I can fly
Sometimes
In my dreams
And you can not.
Why can I fly
So high
I'm scared of heights.
I know why I'm crying:
'Cause someone's cutting onions. (it was me)
