This started out as me just playing around with piano in FL Studio, and I came up with a little tune that I liked, and after listening to it a few times, I really wanted to write lyrics to it, and so a couple days later I did, and then I combined some parts and then added some wind/rain and this is the result. I like it, but hey, it's everyone else's opinion that matters more. This is pretty close to how the songs I was writing in 2012 would've sounded if I actually knew what I'm doing, so that's something I guess.
I still kinda wanna add more to this song some day, like more instruments and stuff, but I still like how it sounds for now.
lyrics
Sometimes I hate myself
When I think of how I've felt.
But that's dumb, I should know.
I wish I could let it go.
Sometimes I'll give up
And I don't know what to do.
Those times I'll shut up
And I'll say nothing to you.
But that's bad! Yes, I know.
Sometimes I just can't let it go.
And I know i'll be free,
I one day hope I can stop obsesing, just get better, be a better me.
But for now I'll never know,
'Cause I can't just let it go.
And I don't know what to say,
I guess I'll just try again some other day.
